iWeb has developed a sophisticated bespoke e-commerce site for Propermusic.com to provide both a great user experience and total integration of processes.
The front-end design of the website has been optimised using iWeb’s in-depth usability knowledge to make the whole shopping experience enjoyable and as efficient as possible. A special feature that helps browsing and filtering is the SOLR search engine. It lets the visitor filter products after initial search to drill down by genre, by format or by price to quickly find exactly what they are looking for.
The website is automatically updated with stock, price, inventory, discount and campaign information via bespoke integration with Proper Distributions backoffice.
Order requests are sent direct to pick and pack for speedy distribution and online returns are streamlined for a quick turnaround.
As well as the store, the new website has a blog dedicated to bringing news, reviews and features to fans. This is the place to come back and visit regularly for up-to-date information about new releases, upcoming tour dates, enter exclusive competitions to win signed CDs and gig tickets, read artist blogs and listen to the weekly podcast.
