iWeb has won the contract to develop a new education website for Fisita.com, the world body for the automobile industry.
FISITA is the umbrella organisation for the national automotive societies in 37 countries around the world. It is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation, controlled by the engineering profession and supported by the global automotive industry – car manufacturers, motor sport, engineering, safety, testing and fuel companies to name a few.
FISITA is committed to supporting the education and training of students and young engineers and is determined to promote a positive image of the auto industry amongst students.
To this end they will launch an education website aimed at undergraduates to encourage them to study the correct subjects for jobs in the auto industry – Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.
iWeb will develop a niche microsite in WordPress incorporating a directory of Universities with suitable degree courses, a searchable event guide, a user accessible database of student research papers with a discussion forum and integrated Twitter feed on the homepage.
