The web is built by people contributing their free time to develop software and technologies that we use everyday. iWeb has built its business around open source software and as part of our commitment to giving back, we’re engaging with local community groups, students and other organisations to facilitate learning and the sharing of knowledge.

Staffs Web Meetup is a local, monthly meetup group founded in October 2014. The event began following encouragement from Jenny Wong at WP Contributor Day. The idea developed with the help of two of our team members with the support of the local community, numerous businesses and Staffordshire University.

Attended by a wide range of people including designers, developers, copywriters, marketers and project managers with skill levels ranging from professionals, students and enthusiasts. The event is free to attend, hosting an average of 50 attendees. Each event hosts a range of lightning talks and guest speakers along with free refreshments, food and prize giveaways.

We’re happy to announce that we are dedicated to the continued development and success of this event by offering support and sponsorship, helping cover some of the costs, ensuring the event remains free to attend.
